There are many paths to becoming an artist. For over 25 years, I was a successful technology executive for the Heineken Company, working internationally in many exciting cultural centers including Amsterdam, New York, Mexico, Panama and the Caribbean. A few years ago, I made some significant life changes, including leaving my career in business to pursue my original dream of being an artist.

In 2017, I began studying life drawing and oil painting under Sam Morrow, fine artist and instructor, MFA Royale College of Art, London. I additionally spent many hours studying the wonderful collections at the Yale Art Gallery in New Haven CT. A small project I undertook to replicate a Fra Angelico painting led me to undertake a deeper exploration of the techniques used by the early masters. In 2018, I went to Florence, Italy to study traditional gilding and other decorative techniques under Alison Woolley, professional artist and international decorator. All of this has led to the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and a further understanding of the reasons behind and purpose of my art.

I’m thrilled for the opportunity now to work full-time on my craft out of my beautiful home studio in Danbury CT, where I reside with my husband Craig. I've had the pleasure to show my work at the Rowayton Art Center and Ridgefield Guild of Artists in CT.
